As usual, Mary Flower displays her unique style, influenced by various genres of world music, and demonstrates her expertise in fingerstyle blues, slide guitar, and ragtime picking. On this collection Mary mixes in some more Creole and boogie rhythms than you may have heard from her before, and a bit of New Orleans jazz to spice the mix. From the future classic "Nobody's Fault but Mine," featuring Henry Butler on piano, to the delightful "Hudson River Rag" guitar duet with the fabulous Woody Mann, this disc pleases and surprises with each track. Mary is truly an American treasure.
