Blues music goes in and out of style but Alberta Adams has been ubiquitious with the blues in Detroit for over 50 years. Adams has a strong, rich voice with a tone and expressive quality that grabs a listener by the heart and won't let go. She has toured extensively with Louis Jordan, Eddie 'Cleanhead' Vinson, T-Bone Walker, James Moody and Duke Ellington and she has recorded extensively, particularly in the jump type blues style that is her repertoire today.
 

Her performances are known for high energy. Her constant touring has won her fans worldwide, she is an original who knows the blues on a first name basis. Have a quick listen to Alberta:
