Gibson Guitar and the Gibson Foundation have partnered with the SBBS to fund a Blues For Youth program for area students. The Gibson Foundation has been exceedingly generous in their donation of an Epiphone BB.King Lucille guitar to the SBBS. The guitar is to be be raffled off during a series of Blues Society events in 2006, the proceeds going to our Blues For Youth program. Raffle proceeds will allow the SBBS to provide standards-based classroom programs that will be presented by local musicians and historians at no cost to elementary, middle, and secondary teachers.
