Whew! The guitar saga is over! Here is an overview: Epiphone Lucille Guitar donated by the Gibson Foundation Proceeds to support the local Blues For Youth Many incredible musicians Signed the Guitar At our November 11, 2006 show the Guitar was Raffled Off Raffle winner, Doug Carroll, donated the guitar BACK TO THE SBBS! At our January 27, 2007 show the Guitar was Auctioned Off Winner Kami Williams is now the proud owner of said guitar (see below) The Guitar is gone, Blues For Youth has prospered! Auction Winner Kami Williams w/ Leo Schumaker We are happy to report that our members made the Live Auction at the Membership Appreciation show on January 27 a rousing success with the guitar bringing in over $5,000 along with a number of other auction items. On behalf of the Blues For Youth program and youngsters who will benefit from it , our heartfelt thanks go out to those who purchased raffle tickets and the bidders at the auction.
